Michel Moyse Art
Artist Michel Moyse welcomes visitors to his studio in West Brattleboro. There you’ll see artworks that he’s created over a lifetime: drawings, paintings, and motionpaintings.
“Motionpainting” is a word he uses to describe much of the work he’s done over the last 30 years: video projections reflecting a uniquely contemporary palette through the combination of computer technologies and traditional oils. He calls them “aspects of Now in duration.”
Also, Michel is set up to give visitors the opportunity to collaborate on an artwork, incorporating voice or instruments if desired.
The studio is open Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm, Sundays 10 am to 1 pm, July 6 through August 18; other times by appointment or chance. Call or text (802) 258-8081.
Michel Moyse is an artist, teacher, and co-founder/director of the Center for Digital Art. His artistic career spans nearly five decades and includes works on paper, glass, plastic, film, single and multi-channel projections.
