Fame is not important at Marlboro. In a rehearsal, at the square dance, or at meals, everyone pitches in… and enjoys themselves! I had never been in an environment with so much emphasis on the joy of life. That’s a lesson that carries over to other fields: joy in making art equals joy in life.
