Members of the festival come from all corners of the globe, and each summer I am given the opportunity to learn from them and their unique experiences, with the common ground being music. In a world where divides and differences are often a common theme, Marlboro offers a departure through its community of musical kinship. One can’t help but take this sense of community and unity back into the outside world after a summer spent with the festival.
