Jennifer Loux
Admissions DirectorJennifer Loux has served Marlboro Music since 2007. As Admissions Director, she works closely with the Artistic Director, senior artistic committee and administrators in overseeing Marlboro’s applications, auditions and participant invitations. She also assists Marlboro’s younger and senior participating musicians, staff and family members with scheduling requests, travel, housing and other arrangements, and she reports on the admissions process to the Board of Trustees.
Jennifer received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from Temple University. She also studied Choral Conducting in the graduate department at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.
Jennifer has directed concert choirs as a visiting lecturer at the University of Indianapolis and Ursinus College, has served as an interim director of Sola Gratia Musicians (a choral program for high school students), and has worked with children’s choirs at Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. She enjoys reading, attending concerts of all kinds, and singing with and occasionally directing various choral groups in the Philadelphia region.
